The Chief of Staff of the Spanish Navy attended the donation ceremony of the earnings obtained at auction from breaking up material of former Spanish Navy flagship, aircraft-carrier ‘Príncipe de Asturias’.

SURUS, a reverse logistics company, organized a public charity auction with objects from the carrier. More than 300 items were offered like telephones, signal lights, pressure gauges, loudspeakers, helmets, communication stations, stretches and navigation charts. All objects were sold with a certification of authenticity.

The SURUS representative, Mr. Adolfo Cancelo, handed different checks to several Navy-connected charities like the Naval Museum Foundation, the military NGO ‘Caritas’ and the ‘Our Lady of Mount Carmel’ Association.
